I am a Freelance Senior/ Executive Producer living in LA. I was most recently at Wieden + Kennedy Portland, where I spent the past 6.5 years working on brands such as Nike, EA, Old Spice, Corona Global, Uber and KFC.

Over the years, I have led global productions for a myriad of brands that I admired growing up. I've honed my skills at some of the world's largest and most recognizable agencies, led by legendary professionals who continue to inspire me. My advertising career started in New York City at BBDO followed by a lengthy stint at Ogilvy. During my time at Ogilvy, I helped create award-winning work for IBM, a brand that happened to be our first family computer.

Growing up, I was inspired by Nike commercials: they played in my head before every 100m dash and every warm-up. When the opportunity came to join Wieden + Kennedy, I really couldn't say anything other than LET'S GEAUX. After all, I have admired the company that Dan & Dave built since I was 17. Everything about the culture was aligned with what I believed in both creatively and in life: the fear of failure is the antagonist of progress, so dream big and don't be afraid to fail.

Aside from my career journey, you are probably wondering more about who I am as a Producer. Throughout my life, I have always been someone who had one arm in the sky with the heels of my feet lifted, as the tips of my toes continued to touch the ground. I love living in my imagination and finding a way to bring that imagination from a thought to something tangible. I like to think of producing as "creative engineering." It perfectly describes my production approach of devising strategies, logistics, and creative/client nurturing to bring big dreams to life, while also allowing room for the soul and meaning of an idea to evolve & flourish.

Along the way, I don't forget that this is a human experience and the core of any creative pursuit is our interpersonal relationships as a team. I try to make sure that every process takes into account a way of working that allows every individual to bring their best selves, while also working together as one synchronized team. I make collaboration central to every process. I often say, "you can tell when something was made without joy." There is always a solution forward, but through it all, we can't lose touch with the original objective we intended to make. Sometimes, we need to pause to look at where we are in the process. And sometimes, that pause is a little laughter.

When I am not on production, I do try to indulge in other creative & personal pursuits. I have been told I tell really great stories, so I am trying to lean into that by getting back into writing. When I am not writing, I am traveling or wandering through nature. I have lived in a number of countries throughout my life, so it is in my nature to want to explore the world with any chance I get. I am also trying to become a better surfer... and boxer.
